Why do my felting needles break?
It’s usually the pad, the angle, or fighting dense wool — not a “bad” needle.
Roving or batting?
Batting is faster to start a form. Roving is lovely for hair and details.
How much wool do I need?
Less than you think for a face. More than you think if you keep adding clothes.
Wool storage
Keep it clean, labeled, and away from moths. Future-you will thank you.
Caring for your felties
They’re wool sculptures, not wash-and-wear. A little care goes a long way.
Bag the head
