We strive to offer fun and affordable supplies for needle felting with low-cost shipping options and fast order processing. If you have any questions or problems with your order, read through the FAQs below and if you still need help,
A few notes about shipping.
We ship within 1-3 business days of receiving your order (weekends and US holidays are not counted as business days.) If we are out of stock of an item in your order, we may hold your order for an extra day or two.
Once a parcel leaves Felt Alive it becomes the responsibility of the carrier and is subject to the the terms and conditions of the shipping method selected.
Except for Express Services, all delivery times are estimates only without guarantee. The US Postal Service does provide fast and efficient deliveries but they do occasionally send a parcel on a longer journey than expected; with very few exceptions, wayward parcels manage to find their way to the intended recipients.
If your parcel is taking longer than you feel it should to arrive, please be patient and understand that once we ship it is out of our hands and there is nothing we can do to expedite delivery. Please read our shipping terms for help and information about the shipping method you selected.
I'm in a big rush for my order, can you make sure it arrives in time?
For time-sensitive orders, we recommend you select Priority Express at least 4 business days before your deadline. All other shipping methods are not guaranteed and we can't assure you that your order will arrive on time.
Can you please let me know when my order ships?As soon as we ship you will receive an automated shipping notification email that includes a tracking number. You can also check your account any time to see the status of your order.
I tracked my order and it only tells me that it was shipped - where is my package?Point-by-point tracking is not included with our USPS First Class services - if you selected this shipping method, your parcel typically will get scanned only upon shipment and delivery and we can't offer much help in tracking down your order. We can assure you, however, that we have great luck using this service and are confident that your order is in-transit and on its way to your door.
Point-by-point tracking is included with Priority or Priority Express providing detailed information with frequent scans. If your Priority or Express parcel seems to be stuck or delayed, your best option is to contact the US Postal Service with your tracking number for assistance. See our

I tracked my order and it tells me it was delivered but I didn't get it - what do I do?
Typically this mystery is easily solved and the parcel is hiding nearby. Once you check all the obvious locations and ask any family or close neighbors, check with your local mail carrier - they usually do recall where they delivered something. If it was left on your doorstep or in another non-secure location and it has gone missing then it's likely you have been the victim of mail theft. Report it to your local authorities including Police and your local Postmaster. Unfortunately, neither the USPS nor Felt Alive reimburse for missing parcels that show they were delivered.

I made two separate orders, can you please ship them together and refund shipping charges?
Once an order is placed we begin processing and packaging right away so make sure to give us a call as soon as you can during business hours (we may not see an email in time) and if we haven't began processing your orders, we'll be happy to help!
My order is missing items - what do I do?We check and double check your order for accuracy but every now and then we make a mistake. If you looked through everything and you are definitely missing something, contact us and let us know.
I ordered needles but all I received was a ball of wool - what happened?
We think it's a fabulous idea to package felting needles in needle felting wool instead of plastic bubble wrap. PLEASE take a moment to take the wool out of the package and you'll find your needles tucked safely inside. And don't forget to create something with the wool and needles!
The colors I ordered do not look the same as the photos. Can I return the wool?We understand the difficulties in shopping for wool online. Touching the wool and seeing the colors in person would be ideal, especially since colors appear different on every computer monitor. Besides that, we dye most of our Felt Alive Wool in small batches - each batch that comes out of the dye pot is variegated and unique and the wool you receive will very likely differ from the photos. We think it is what makes our wool amazing for everyone to create truly unique works of art but if the wool your purchased is not what you expected or the colors you receive do not work for you, we are happy to issue a refund upon return of the unused products. My items were damaged during shipping, what do I do?This is not a frequently asked question as the postal service typically does a fine job delivering the goods intact so we handle this on a case-by-case basis. But should your parcel arrive damaged, contact us immediately using the form above. Make sure to document the damage (including the packaging) as soon as you can - photos are best and describe the damage as accurately as possible so we can provide that information to the United States Postal Service for their investigation.
Returns and Refunds:Our goal is happy customers so if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please return the unused item within 7 days of receipt of the items to the return address on the parcel. We will issue a refund within 48 hours of receipt of your return. We recommend using a shipping method to return your items that includes tracking and delivery confirmation. Refunds are made for the purchase price of the returned items and does not include any shipping charges. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee.

I just purchased a membership - now what?
Access to The Needle Felters Workshop site requires you to register an account. As soon as your purchase is complete, you will receive an invoice for your purchase in your email that includes a link to register at the workshop site. For security reasons, this link does expire so make sure to watch your email and register right away after purchasing. Contact us if you have any problems registering.
I'm a member of The Needle Felters Workshop, how do I get my member discounts?
Current susbscribers can get 20% off all orders with promo code mydiscount during checkout.
Members are eligible to receive one of each workshop title on DVD at 80% savings here
member discounts cannot be combined with other sales and promotions.
How can I renew my membership -
Once your membership expires, you will still have full access to the videos are not eligible for member discount pricing. To renew all of your benefits, purchase another subscription HERE
How can I cancel my membership-
You can cancel your membership anytime, just let us know. Membership fees, however, are non-refundable once you register an account at the workshop site.
