APRIL 20, 2013

Needle Felted Man in the Moon

A Great Introduction to Sculptural Needle Felting - Perfect for Beginners

Needle Felted Man in the Moon  needle felted man in the moon

Make a date with The Man (or Woman) in the Moon!   This workshop is so much fun as we make needle felted faces on a crescent moon body using only wool and barbed felting needles.  Learn to make expressive eyes and a smiling mouth with bright white teeth.  Learn the basics of wrinkles and shading too - all with wool!  No sewing, no painting and no previous needle felting experience necessary.  Your finished Moon will be about 12" long plus a felted wool hanger.

Along with learning basic techniques for bringing wool to life using sculptural needle felting techniques, you will gain an understanding of selecting wool and supplies to bring your own ideas to life in needle felted wool. You'll discover a world of possibilities as I share my unique Felt Alive insight into this amazing art craft. And you'll take home a unique needle felted character of your very own design!

1 Day Workshop - APRIL 20, 2013  10 am - 4 pm.  Bring a lunch, snacks and beverage.
